The Alleged Hijackers

From: The 9/11 Commission report : omissions and distortions, by David Ray Griffin, p. 19-23.

"... at least six of the nineteen men officially identified as the suicide hijackers reportedly showed up alive after 9/11."

Waleed al-Shehri was interviewed after 9/11 by a London newspaper and spoke to the US embassy in Morocco explaining that he lives in Casablanca where he is a pilot for Royal Air Maroc.
Ahmed al-Nami and Saeed al-Ghamdi told Telegraph reporter David Harrison they were shocked to hear that they had died in this crash. Al-Nami worked with Saudi Arabian Airlines at the time and Al-Ghamdi was in Tunis.
3 others, Mohand al-Shehri, Salem al Hazmi and Abdul Aziz al Omari were all reported by the Saudi Embassy in Washington to be living in Saudi Arabia. Al-Omari, a pilot for Saudi airlines, visited the US consulate in Jeddah to demand an explanation.

"Do we have any publicly available proof that any of the 19 men named by the FBI and the 9/11 Commission were on any of the four planes that day? The shocking answer is: No. We have been told that their names were on the flight manifests. But the flight manifests that have been released have no Arab names on them."

Hijack 'suspects' alive and well (BBC News, Sept. 23, 2001)

"FBI Director Robert Mueller acknowledged on Thursday that the identity of several of the suicide hijackers is in doubt."

Official: 15 of 18 Sept. 11 hijackers were Saudi (USA Today Feb. 6, 2002)

"RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) Saudi Arabia acknowledged for the first time that 15 of the Sept. 11 suicide hijackers were Saudi citizens, but said Wednesday that the oil-rich kingdom bears no responsibility for their actions. Previously, Saudi Arabia had said the citizenship of 15 of the 19 hijackers was in doubt despite U.S. insistence they were Saudis. But Interior Minister Prince Nayef told The Associated Press that Saudi leaders were shocked to learn 15 of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia."
